Entertaining with Darina Allen & Rory O'Connell - Ballymaloe Cookery School

 

Darina and Rory co-founded Ballymaloe Cookery School together in 1983, and thus bring over 30 years teaching experience, along with their individual teaching styles, to bear on this 2.5 day course. Their 'Simply Delicious Christmas' shows which aired on RTE 1 in 2014 and 2015 were a huge success, and are a flavour of what can be expected on this course. We guarantee plenty of fun and, of course, a little sibling rivalry for good measure! 

In this 2 1/2 day course you will watch as Darina and Rory create a collection of delicious recipes in each demonstration, then the following morning with the help of our tutors, you will create some of the dishes yourself, before sharing a delicous lunch with your class mates.

Accommodation is available in our shared self catering cottages at the Ballymaloe Cookery School for this course. You may select to reserve accommodation when booking if you wish.

Rates  2022

  • Single Room €85 per person per night
  • Twin Room €50 per person per night

Breakfast in the Cookery School is provided on our short courses for all our students. 

Alternative rates are available for our 12 Week Certificate Course, 5 Week Summer Course and 6 Week Sustainable Food Course.

Ballymaloe House (4 KM from Cookery School) also provides accommodation for those who enjoy a little more luxury.
