Sushi, a staple of Japanese cuisine, is loved the world over for its freshness, delicacy, and health benefits. Yet despite its complicated appearance, sushi is deceptively easy to make at home once you know how.
This half-day course allows you to join our 12-week certificate students and receive expert instruction from celebrated cook and longtime Ballymaloe Cookery School chef Shermin Mustafa on how to prepare perfect dishes from scratch. Using the freshest fish from nearby Ballycotton Bay, we will guide you through how to create sublime sushi and sashimi, from the knife skills you need to foolproof ways of selecting the best and freshest produce.
