Each year at Ballymaloe Cookery School, we endeavour to introduce our 12 Week Certificate students to some of the best producers and critics in the world of wine, and this year is no different. On Thursday 13th November at Ballymaloe House, Ireland's most well known wine writer, John Wilson of The Irish Times, treats us to a tasting of just some of the wines featured in his new book, Wilson on Wine 2015. This event is open to members of the public and we're looking forward to what promises to be an inspiring evening!

The evenings events are two-fold: 

  • 7pm  -The Grainstore: Wine lecture & guided tasting   €15 (Update: Location change to Ballymaloe Cookery School for lecture&tasting only)
  • 830pm - Ballymaloe House: 5 course evening meal with wine pairings chosen by John Wilson  €65

Guests may attend both events if they wish, as the wines selected for each event are different. Alternatively, please join us for either part of the evening!
