The hens are free! We have just had the green light to finally let the chickens out having been cooped up since December under instruction from the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) because of the risk of Avian influenza/bird flu. This means the chickens will now get their full nourishment again from the ground and freedom to run around.
