The Ballymaloe Urban Garden is a new edition this year to our 100 acre organic farm and gardens, with the idea of demonstrating how you can have a manageable, abundant, working garden to feed a family in an average-sized 'back-garden'.
Everything you could need — with a little glasshouse, four raised beds (with a four-year crop rotation), a compost box, a cold frame, a water butt and even a little bird bath.
The gardens are open to the public, Monday-Saturday to come and see yourself.
